- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup silver tequila
- 1/2 cup triple sec
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 2–3 limes)
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Lime wedges and fresh blueberries for garnish (optional)
- Coarse salt for rimming the glasses (optional)
Instructions
- Cut pineapple into 1-inch chunks and gather all ingredients and equipment.
- In a high-powered blender, blend the pineapple chunks and blueberries until smooth and creamy, about 1–2 minutes. Pour into a large measuring cup or pitcher and set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and sugar. Shake vigorously until sugar dissolves, about 30 seconds.
- Rim glasses with lime and dip in coarse salt if desired. Fill glasses with ice.
- Pour margarita base over ice, then top with the blended fruit mixture. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with lime wedges and blueberries. Serve and enjoy your tropical cocktail.
