Method

  2. Combine Ice Cream, Lime Juice, and Lime Zest: In a blender, add the vanilla ice cream, key lime juice, and lime zest.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend the ingredients on medium speed until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk (1-2 tablespoons at a time) until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Add Graham Cracker Crumbs: Add about half of the graham cracker crumbs to the blender.
  5. Pulse Briefly: Pulse the blender a few times to incorporate the graham cracker crumbs. Avoid over-blending to maintain some texture.
  6. Pour and Garnish: Pour the milkshake into a chilled glass. Top with whipped cream (if desired), the remaining graham cracker crumbs, and a lime slice for garnish.
