Method
- Chill your martini glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
- If making a sugar rim, rub a lemon or lime wedge around the rim of the glass to moisten it.
- Pour sugar into a shallow dish.
- Dip the moistened rim of the glass into the sugar, rotating until evenly coated. Let it dry for a few minutes.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add vodka, raspberry liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and optional cranberry juice to the shaker.
- Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
- Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass, leaving the ice in the shaker.
- Garnish with a lemon twist, fresh raspberries, and edible glitter (optional).
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Freshly squeezed lemon juice is essential. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup. For a sparkling variation, top with sparkling wine or Prosecco. Consider adding a few drops of rose water for a floral flavor. For a spicy kick, add a slice of jalapeƱo to the shaker. To make a mocktail, replace the vodka with sparkling water or club soda and increase the amount of raspberry liqueur.
