Method
- Chill champagne flutes in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine raspberry liqueur, lemon juice, and Angostura bitters.
- Add ice to the shaker.
- Shake well until the shaker is very cold, about 15-20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled champagne flute.
- Top with chilled Champagne.
- Garnish with fresh raspberries and edible rose petals.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For a sweeter cocktail, add a splash of simple syrup or a teaspoon of raspberry jam to the shaker. For a more floral cocktail, substitute elderflower liqueur (such as St. Germain) for the raspberry liqueur. For a non-alcoholic version, use sparkling white grape juice and a few drops of raspberry extract. Ensure all ingredients are well-chilled for the best results.
